Kohler is disabled and moves around on a fancy wheelchair that has many buttons and nobs that do different things. A leading scientist was murdered at CERN and was branded with a symbol on his chest. Kohler called Robert Langdon and provided transportation an so on so that Robert can help solve a murder. Vittoria is also good at solving problems due to her knowledge of science as well as religion, she and her father wanted to prove the relationship that science and religion had together. Vittoria was an orphan when she was a child and was adopted by her father Leonardo who was a catholic priest. She and her father created a very powerful nuclear gas called the antimatter. She is a scientist at CERN and worked alongside her father. Vittoria was also an important character in the story. Very calming person who doesn’t ever panic. Robert is very good at solving puzzles, mystery’s, riddle’s you name it he can do it. He has a very fun sense of humor when it comes to things going the wrong way. Robert Langdon is claustrophobic due to an experience he had when he was a child. And has been working there for over 20 years. Robert Landon is a professor of symbols at Harvard. Robert Langdon is as always the main charcter in this story. Modern gadgets were used such as cellphones, very fast jets, fancy wheelcheers and the very newly introduced “antimatter”.

The story takes place in Vatican City and through out the city of Rome. He is also the author of Deception Point and Digittal Fortress, all of which are New York Times bestsellers. Due to this obession that I have with Dan Brown novels I chose to read this book.ĭan Brown is the author of The Da vinci Code, the # 1 worldwide bestseller that appeared on the New York Times bestseller list for more than two years. I am not very aware of the world’s history so I often have to research what is being spoken of in his books. Dan Brown’s books always seem to have some theory that history as it is been told is wrong. I dont know why, but I seem to be attracted to controdictions that have to do with the history and religon as we know it.
